{"id":1636,"date":"2018-03-06T15:11:59","date_gmt":"2018-03-06T20:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-dcb.resultspw.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=1636"},"modified":"2024-07-10T13:27:34","modified_gmt":"2024-07-10T17:27:34","slug":"presidents-message-march-2018","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.deanbank.com\/news\/presidents-message-march-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"President's Message - March 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>March 2018<\/p>\n<p>In last month&rsquo;s President&rsquo;s Message, I mentioned that our Main Office will be undergoing an ambitious expansion \/ modernization very soon.&nbsp; The project plan calls for multiple phases and Phase One is about to begin.&nbsp; I wanted to let our customers know that a construction start date of March 9<sup>th<\/sup> has been finalized and inform you of some of the changes that will be occurring over the first 30 days or so.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Beginning next week, our Franklin Office teller line will be closed and a new, temporary teller line will be created.&nbsp; This should be complete by Monday, March 12<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; Access to all areas of the Franklin Branch will remain open, including offices, the walk-up ATM and the safe deposit box area.&nbsp; You may see temporary plywood walls constructed, have to walk in designated areas and experience occasional noise from demolition and construction.&nbsp; You may or may not see that our fish tank will be covered.&nbsp; Plans are to keep the tank in its present location.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once Phase One is complete, construction will shift to other parts of the branch and the building at large.&nbsp; Our walk-up ATM will close in early April and be replaced with a new machine in a new part of the branch. Our night deposit drop will also be moving.&nbsp; Separate communication to those business customers who use the night drop is forthcoming.&nbsp; There are no plans to move the drive-up lanes or the drive-up ATM and they will remain operational throughout the project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Though our design\/build partner promises to do everything possible to minimize the creation of dust and dirt, it will be impossible to completely eliminate it.&nbsp; We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this project creates for customers and visitors to our 21 Main St. location.&nbsp; Our Marketing Dept. will be posting signage throughout the branch and we&rsquo;ll also have a visual rendering of what the finished product will look like.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Be on the lookout for raffles to be held in the branch as a small token of our appreciation for your continued business as this project commences.&nbsp;
