<p>This short video will help you learn how to do a remote deposit with the Dean Bank mobile app. This app can be useful so you can make a deposit anytime, anyplace you have a good signal with your phone and at your convenience. For individual deposits you can make check deposits up to $2000 dollars in total for any given day, and for business checks up to $5000 dollars any given day.<\/p>\n<p>First thing we do is open up the Dean Bank app and come to the sign on page. I use my thumbprint and the first main screen is the account screen, where your accounts are at the bottom of the screen, you can see the three icons. The deposit one is the one you want to use, and at the top of the screen you see deposit a check is the first option. You also have view your history after you\u2019ve made some deposits. Click on the deposit a check, and you\u2019ll select the account you want it to go into, based on the accounts you\u2019ve got set up on your screen. In this case we\u2019re going to go to the Kids Travel Account. What I\u2019ve got is a check for $10 dollars. At this point we enter the dollar amount, remembering to use the decimal point, and when you\u2019re done with that you hit Done. And then you\u2019re ready to take pictures of the check. Click on the Take photos button and a screen will come up and will ask you to put the check in the view finder. And you hover over the check, it will automatically take a picture of the check when it is lined up. As you can see it was successful. So, you look at the image on it is clear and you have all the important information, you hit the Use button and then you have to scan the endorsement side of the check. It\u2019s very important that you line up the endorsement with the right edge and please use the endorsement \u201cFor Mobile Deposit Only, Dean Bank\u201d and we\u2019ll say use that item. And we will come back to the screen to let us know we\u2019re about to confirm the deposit. So at this point you can go in and edit and look at various information if you want, but you\u2019ve got your 2 images and you\u2019ve got your dollar amount and you hit the make deposit, and you have successfully submitted a check for $10 dollars. Now the funds will not be immediately available, check the funds availability policy and you\u2019re all set. Now you can either close out of the app or go on to a new deposit.<\/p>\n<p>So, give it a try today.
